Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in an outpatient pharmacy setting adjacent to a hospital in Willits, CA. This contract role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to apply retail experience while working day shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment. The assignment spans approximately 16 weeks with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill and verify prescription medications Provide oversight and support to pharmacy technicians Counsel patients on prescribed and OTC medications to ensure safe usage Utilize Cerner systems for pharmacy operations and documentation Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize clinical outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
Active California pharmacist license Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred Strong communication and patient counseling skills Comfortable with Cerner electronic systems Willingness to work collaboratively and maintain high accuracy standards
