Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An established infusion pharmacy is actively seeking two Clinical Infusion Pharmacists for direct hire positions. These full-time, on-site roles are vital in providing expert clinical and dispensing services for infusion and specialty medications within a supportive healthcare environment.

ASAP Responsibilities:
Review and verify infusion and specialty medication prescriptions with accuracy. Conduct clinical assessments to ensure appropriate medication selection, dosing, and patient monitoring per evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards. Prepare and check compounded sterile products in adherence to USP and state/federal standards. Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize therapy plans. Counsel patients on medication administration, potential side effects, and adherence strategies. Coordinate treatment logistics and manage medication inventories efficiently. Document clinical interventions and support quality assurance, safety, and compliance initiatives. Act as a clinical resource to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, particularly in neurology and oncology infusion specialties. Utilize the CareTend system for clinical documentation and workflow management.Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree with an active, unrestricted California pharmacist license. Proven proficiency in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations. Experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or clinical/hospital pharmacy settings preferred. Familiarity with insurance prior authorizations, specialty medication reimbursement, and patient assistance programs is beneficial. Strong clinical judgment and exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to patient safety. Effective communication skills to engage with patients, caregivers, prescribers, and healthcare teams.
