Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee critical pharmacy operations with a focus on home-based intravenous therapies as a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager. This direct hire role is designed for a pharmacy professional with strong clinical and leadership experience in infusion settings. You will lead sterile compounding activities, manage pharmacy staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to branch profitability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct day-to-day pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management Lead recruitment, training, performance reviews, and scheduling of pharmacists and technicians Maintain strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding standards Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize clinical outcomes in infusion therapies Participate in budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategic planning for the branch
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in California 3-7 years experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy operations Proven expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory compliance Strong leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy teams Experience with CareTend system is highly preferred
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Flexibility required for administrative on-call duties This role demands a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Manager committed to patient safety, quality care, and operational excellence in a home infusion setting.
