Full Job Description Pharmacist Requirements:
_ Current license in California _ Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical therapy _ Strong communication skills with ability to articulate information in a clear and concise manner_ _ Excellent listening skills and demonstration of empathy with patients in tone, language, questions and counseling_ _ Knowledge of computers and drug prescription software_ _ Problem-solving mindset_ _ Patient-oriented personality_ _ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills_
Minimum Qualifications:
_ Active and unrestricted California Registered Pharmacist License._ _ Certified Immunizer (preferred)_ Pharmacist's duties and responsibilities but not limited to: _ Responsible for the daily operation and decision-making process pertinent to community pharmacy programs. _ Collaborate with healthcare professionals internally and externally to ensure optimal patient care. _ Create policies for implementation of a drug-use, disease-state management programs, and various accreditation bodies. _ Review records of patients to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy. _ Evaluate patient's condition to ensure all issues are being treated effectively. _ Identify untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physician. _ Develop effective medication plans that minimize the risk of adverse side-effects. _ Consult on dosages, medication substances etc. _ Assess the results of pharmaceutical treatments. _ Keep accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress. _ Assisting with inputting, processing, billing, and filling medication. _ Supervises pharmacy technicians, clerks and pharmacy interns. _ Provide vaccinations to patients. _ Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster. _ Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring. _ Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice. _ Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient. _ Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures.
