Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience who is ready to take on a fulfilling role in a dynamic healthcare setting. Serving a vibrant community, the position offers a 26-week assignment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.
Location:
Mendocino, CA (Ft Bragg area)
Schedule:
Four 10-hour day shifts per week Full-time availability required
Start ASAP Responsibilities:
Verify and process medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient medication therapy Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell; involvement in the ongoing conversion to EPIC Participation in chemotherapy medication preparation and handling is a plus
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid California pharmacist license Hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork Ability to adapt to evolving technology platforms in pharmacy practice This contract role provides a unique chance to gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy environment while working a consistent and manageable schedule.
