Job Description
Full-time maintenance technician position(s):
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Inspect property regularly to ensure it meets safety standards and that Resort premises are safe and functional for guests and employees.
- Work with housekeeping staff, gardeners, landscapers, dining and kitchen personnel, concierge and receptionists, managers, and owners to ensure they have the tools and information (regarding property) necessary to accomplish their responsibilities.
- Provide preventive and routine maintenance in hotel rooms, facilities, and property.
- Work with supply and service providers.
- Respond quickly and resolve emergency issues.
- Should be familiar with basic plumbing, basic electrical, and carpentry.
- Organized, reliable, self-motivated, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ongoing projects, particularly in the off-season, focus on general carpentry, including fence and raised organic beds repair and rebuilding; deck and partition repair and rebuilding; interior molding, paneling, repair and rehabilitation; etc.
