Schedule/Hours:

Variable days/afternoons Mostly 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and clinical interventions Utilize hospital information systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current California Pharmacist license required Recent graduates are welcome to apply Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment Strong communication and teamwork skills for patient care collaboration This contract role begins ASAP and extends for approximately 13 weeks with potential for extension.
