Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care at a small hospital in Willits, CA. This contract position offers the chance to utilize your pharmacy expertise in a focused healthcare environment, delivering essential medication management and patient counseling services.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications following hospital protocols and state regulations Review and verify prescriptions to ensure appropriate drug selection, dosage, and administration Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and safety Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation Provide patient education on medication usage, side effects, and interactions Monitor inventory and assist with medication procurement processes Support hospital staff with pharmacological information and guidance as neededQualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Pharmacist license in California Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist, preferably within a hospital or clinical setting Thorough knowledge of prescription medications, dosing, and pharmacy law Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teamsLocation:
