Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A small hospital in the Redwood Valley area is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to support patient health and safety through accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to physicians' orders and legal regulations Review patient medication profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapies and identify potential interactions Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use, side effects, and storage Maintain proper documentation and compliance with pharmacy laws and facility policies Collaborate with medical staff to optimize pharmaceutical care and contribute to patient treatment plansDesired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid pharmacist license in the state of California Previous experience as a staff pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and healthcare regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamLocation:
