We are looking for a licensed and motivated pharmacist to join our team on weekends in a closed-door pharmacy environment. The role involves verifying and dispensing prescriptions with accuracy while maintaining full compliance with state and federal regulations. Experience with Digital Rx systems is a plus, but not mandatory.Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately.
- Review and process prescriptions from healthcare providers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals, legal requirements, and compliance.
- Utilize pharmacy management software to ensure accurate medication records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
- Ensure the safe storage and proper documentation of medications.
- Assist in managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stock management.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a non-retail, closed-door environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in California (in good standing).
- Experience with Digital Rx Software is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a closed-door or long-term care pharmacy is advantageous
