We are seeking an active California Licensed Pharmacist to serve as our Designated Representative (DR) to fulfill California Board of Pharmacy wholesale licensing requirements. This position is strictly focused on regulatory oversight and facility compliance. It is ideally structured for an active pharmacists looking for a straightforward, low-stress role to supplement their income or a semi-retired or retired pharmacists .
Key Responsibilities Board Compliance & Operational Supervision:
Serve as the designated licensed pharmacist supervising facility operations as required by the California Board of Pharmacy for drug wholesaler licensure.
Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure facility operations adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), drug distribution logs, temperature monitoring, and federal Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) guidelines during receiving, storage, and shipping. Why This Role is Ideal 100%
Compliance Focused:
No patient interaction, no prescription processing, no insurance claims, and no high-volume metrics.
Flexible Hours:
Shifts are scheduled around operational receiving and shipping hours, allowing you to easily manage this role alongside another position or retirement activities.
Requirements Licensing:
Active, unencumbered Pharmacist License (RPh) issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy (Required) .
Location:
Must live within commuting distance of Valencia, CA to be on-site during designated operational hours.
Experience:
Open to pharmacists from retail, hospital, or industry backgrounds. Wholesaler compliance experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
