This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a professional, team-oriented environment without retail walk-in traffic. Schedule Approximately 24-30 hours per week Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Varied schedule based on business needs Must be available to work one Saturday per month Flexibility in scheduling is required Responsibilities Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Perform final verification of medications prior to dispensing Ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy requirements and applicable federal regulations Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, facility staff, nurses, and prescribers Address medication-related questions and clinical issues as needed Support accurate and timely medication dispensing for LTC residents Qualifications Current and active California Pharmacist License in good standing Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work a varied schedule based on pharmacy needs LTC, closed-door, or institutional pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
