Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist In-Charge for our home infusion pharmacy. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective management of pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and delivering high-quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will lead the pharmacy team and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the home infusion pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Manage, train, and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure high performance and professional growth. Coordinate with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized patient care plans. Ensure accurate preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications and infusion therapies. Maintain inventory control and ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies. Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to enhance patient safety and service quality. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for efficient pharmacy operations. Provide expert consultation on medication therapy management to healthcare team members and patients.
Required Skills:
Valid and active pharmacist license in the state of operation. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy, with at least 1 year in a home infusion setting. Strong understanding of home infusion therapy and related technologies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and electronic medical records. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Compensation:
Pay rate of $70-$75 per hour.
