Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This pharmacist position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting in the Lodi, CA area, starting as soon as possible. The contract is for 13 weeks or longer and involves providing critical pharmaceutical services to support patient care and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapies and adjustments Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics in patient care decisions Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, currently Cerner and Omnicell, with a transition to EPIC forthcoming
Qualifications:
Must hold an active California pharmacist license Previous hospital pharmacy experience required Familiarity with order verification and clinical pharmacy functions Experience using Cerner and Omnicell is highly desirable; EPIC exposure is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with medical staff
