Must be familiar with long term care processing and dealing with hospice meds (high number of narcotic prescriptions), must be committed. Must have people skills, excellent phone skills, proactive, prompt, responsible, computer savvy, problem solver, independent and on time. Must be willing to learn pharmacy system, and pharmacy processes which is completely different than the retail setting. Duties will include customer service with patients, caregivers of patients / doctor office staff, consultation of any and all meds prescribed and OTC products sold, RX and OTC ordering, phone / fax / escript prescription processing.
