Inpatient Pharmacist New Heritage Recruiters - 5.0 Torrance, CA Job Details Contract $55 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Registered Pharmacist (RPh) Inpatient experience BLS Certification Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Attention to detail Licensed Pharmacist Hospital experience Full Job Description Inpatient Pharmacist - Respiratory Season We are seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist for a temporary contract position supporting the facility during Respiratory Season . The pharmacist will provide safe and effective medication management for hospitalized patients while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Position Details:
Duration:
for respiratory season (thru April 30, 2027) and may extend
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, generally 11:00 AM-7:30 PM. The exact hours may vary slightly depending on the needs of the facility.
Pay:
$55/hr
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program Active California Pharmacist License (RPh) At least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred American Heart Association BLS Strong communication and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Job Duties Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and potential drug interactions. Dispense and oversee medications for inpatient patients. Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations to the healthcare team as appropriate. Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff. Assist with medication reconciliation and medication management. Ensure medications are prepared, labeled, and distributed according to hospital policies and safety standards. Document medication-related activities and clinical interventions as required. Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies. Help meet increased pharmacy and patient-care needs during Respiratory Season. Perform other related duties as assigned. Duties may vary based on facility needs. #NHR1
Pay:
$55.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you comfortable with a contract duration through April 30, 2027, with the possibility of an extension?
