Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract We are hiring an experienced Pharmacist for a local opportunity in the Los Angeles area. This is a great opportunity for a strong, dependable pharmacist looking for consistent full time hours with a local hospital system.
Position Details:
    Location:
    Los Angeles area, near Norwalk
      Schedule:
      Full Time, 40 hours/week
        Shift:
        Variable day/afternoon shifts
          Duration:
          13+ weeks

            Hospital Pharmacy
              Licensed Beds:
              117
                Average Daily Census:
                44
                  Float:
                  May float to nearby sister hospitals, generally within 10-15 miles of Norwalk, primarily in the Gardena area
                  Responsibilities:
                  • Verify medication orders
                  • Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
                  • Consult with nurses and physicians
                  • Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
                  • Support daily inpatient pharmacy operations
                  • Work with automated medication dispensing systems
                  Technology:
                  • Paragon / Allscripts
                  • Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
                  Requirements:
                  • Active California Pharmacist license
                  • Inpatient Hospital Experience, required (1-year)
                  • Strong clinical and medication verification skills
                  • Ability to work variable day/afternoon shifts
                  • Comfortable floating between nearby facilities
                  Compensation:
                  $70-75+/hour
