Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy position is available for a licensed pharmacist with strong IV compounding experience in Wendel, CA. This contract role offers a chance to support patient care at a medical center over a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, providing a consistent work routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications, including IV compounds Ensure compliance with state licensing and medication safety regulations Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapies Maintain detailed records and documentation for all dispensed medications Assist with inventory management and medication storage protocolsQualifications:
Current California pharmacist license required Proven IV compounding skills essential for this role Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Excellent communication and organizational abilitiesLocation:
Wendel, California Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM This position is a full-travel assignment, with relocation and travel expenses covered.
