Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Clinical Pharmacist in an outpatient pharmacy setting connected to a hospital in Willits, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment focused on patient wellness and medication management.
Responsibilities:
Fill and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, providing clear guidance for safe and effective use Utilize Cerner systems for accurate record-keeping and communication within the healthcare team
Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license in California Experience in retail pharmacy environments preferred Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills for patient counseling and team collaboration Reasonable compensation expectations aligned with contract terms
Schedule:
Day shifts to support outpatient pharmacy hours and patient needs This position is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and extends for a minimum of 16 weeks, offering stability and the chance to impact community health positively.
