Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A small hospital in Willits, CA is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a healthcare setting. This contract role is ideal for a Pharmacy professional experienced in dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions for safety and efficacy Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with current state pharmacy license Experience working as a Staff Pharmacist or RX Pharmacist in hospital or clinical settings Proficient knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
