This role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of our customers by providing expert advice, dispensing prescriptions accurately, and managing pharmacy operations efficiently. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Conduct health and wellness screenings. Provide immunizations and other preventive healthcare services. Advise patients on the proper use and potential side effects of prescribed medications. Manage pharmacy inventory and perform routine stock checks. Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure compliance with all regulations and high standards of care. Maintain confidential customer information and adhere to all regulations concerning patient privacy and security. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, and review patient drug therapy. Required Skills Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical therapy and drug interactions. Strong communication and counseling skills to effectively interact with patients. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In-depth understanding of health and safety guidelines and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA). Proficient in using pharmacy information systems and technology.
