Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a renowned Level I Trauma Center pediatric hospital in Bridgeport, CT, offering an engaging contract opportunity for skilled inpatient pharmacists. This 13-week assignment begins on September 21 and features a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts, including weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week). The facility supports a high-volume, 1500-bed environment, providing a dynamic and impactful workplace. This role welcomes pharmacists with a minimum of three years of experience—PGY1 residency preferred—or two to three years of focused inpatient pharmacy practice, including exposure to children's and women's health. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Connecticut pharmacist license, which can be obtained quickly through the state's temp licensing process within 7-10 business days. Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems is essential. Candidates may contribute clinically in specialized areas or support operational pharmacy functions, such as sterile processing or pharmacist-in-charge duties, depending on experience and competencies.
Key Qualifications:
