Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws Provide expert medication counseling and patient education on proper drug usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to optimize medication therapy plans, including pediatrics, pain management, and acute care cases. Manage pharmacy operations efficiently, including inventory control, drug regulation compliance, and medication storage protocols. Lead and manage pharmacy teams, including supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. Perform compounding medications using aseptic techniques and maintain sterile environments in accordance with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance. Utilize Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and other pharmacy software to document patient interactions accurately and maintain clinical confidentiality policies. Administer immunizations and participate in medical management initiatives aimed at improving patient care outcomes. Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and medication administration protocols across all operations. Support client communication by providing clear guidance on medication use, health management strategies, and addressing patient inquiries professionally. Requirements Valid pharmacist license in good standing with current state pharmacy board certification. Extensive experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist in settings such as hospital or LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy environments. Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with acute care, pain management, pediatrics, and hospital-based pharmacy practices is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead managing pharmacy teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and clinical excellence. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology principles, drug regulation policies, and medical terminology. Proficiency with pharmacy software systems including

Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), immunizations administration, sterile compounding (USP 797), and healthcare compliance are required or preferred. Experience with IV infusion techniques such as IV insertion and aseptic technique is advantageous; familiarity with hospital or acute care settings is a plus.
