Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support a closed-door pharmacy near Hartford as a Part Time / Per Diem Staff Pharmacist for a 3 to 4-month contract. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions (PV2), checking and validating medication orders, and assisting with fulfillment and production tasks within the pharmacy. You will utilize the Frameworks system to manage these duties efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance in every step.
Location:
Meriden, CT Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility to work both shifts required) 1 to 3 days per week (Part Time / Per Diem)
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Connecticut (must possess license at start) Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred Skilled with prescription verification and pharmaceutical production processes Familiarity with Frameworks system is a plus This contract role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible hours and to contribute their skills in a supportive, closed-door pharmacy environment.
