Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A closed-door pharmacy near Hartford is seeking a part-time or per diem pharmacist to provide contract support over the next 3 to 4 months. This role primarily involves prescription verification, checking/verifying medications, and fulfillment/production tasks using the Frameworks system.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform prescription verification (PV2) and accuracy checks Fulfill and produce long-term care medication orders Work within a closed-door pharmacy environment Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure quality and compliance
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current pharmacist license in Connecticut (required) Previous long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with Frameworks pharmacy software Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Location:
Rocky Hill, Connecticut (near Hartford)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Must be flexible to work both shifts as needed Flexible schedule with 1 to 3 days per week availability required This part-time or per diem position is ideal for a licensed CT pharmacist with some LTC background seeking flexible hours on a short-term contract basis.
