Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This is a 13-week contract opportunity based in Waterbury, CT, at a major children's hospital with a Level I Trauma Center and 1,500 beds. The role involves working within a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting, supporting clinical or operational functions depending on your experience—ranging from clinical pharmacy in specialties like pediatric or women's health to pharmacy management or sterile processing. The position offers a rotating schedule with a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week). Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of pharmacy experience, including PGY1 residency training or equivalent practice experience, and hold a Connecticut pharmacist license. Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems is required.
