Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire A leading 503A compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Director to oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance. This position is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to lead a highly specialized sterile and non-sterile compounding facility.

Friday:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Flexible Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the legally designated PIC across multiple non-resident state pharmacy licenses. Act as the primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, FDA, and other regulatory agencies. Maintain full regulatory accountability for state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP compliance. Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations including batch record management, quality assurance, and environmental monitoring. Lead and supervise pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production personnel. Support production scheduling, inventory accuracy, and capacity planning to ensure timely delivery. Manage audit preparations and regulatory inspections to maintain compliance and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania (PA Pharmacist License required) Minimum of 5 years' experience as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager In-depth knowledge of USP , , , and applicable state and federal regulations specific to 503A compounding operations Proven leadership skills in managing pharmacy teams and overseeing regulatory inspections This role offers a dynamic leadership opportunity in a specialized compounding environment with significant responsibility for compliance and operational excellence.
