Pharmacy Clinical Specialist - Surgical ICU Boca Raton, FL | Full-Time | Day Shift | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus A leading healthcare organization in South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to support its Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding critical care program and work with brand-new equipment in a new clinical facility. Position Highlights $10,000 sign-on bonus Full-time Day shift; schedule varies based on physician rounding Surgical ICU focus New building with brand-new equipment Approximately 10-16 beds in the new unit Critical care services expanding from approximately 400 to 467 beds On-call every 4th weekend Cross-functional responsibilities Opportunity to work closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team Responsibilities Provide clinical pharmacy services to surgical ICU patients. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds. Optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes. Review medication regimens and make evidence-based recommendations. Support medication safety and quality initiatives. Perform cross-functional pharmacy duties. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide medication education and clinical consultation. Qualifications PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree. Appropriate Florida pharmacist licensure. Clinical pharmacy experience required/preferred. Critical care or ICU pharmacy experience strongly preferred. Cerner experience preferred but not required. Epic experience is a plus. Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
