We offer an excellent network of career opportunities across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Weekend Pharmacist for a behavioral health hospital, Suncoast Behavioral in Bradenton, FL.

Hours:

Every other weekend 8am-12pm

Duties:

Order entry/verification ensuring appropriate pharmaceutical care is administered to patients of the hospital. Correctly preparing/labeling of all drugs and chemicals Ensure compliance with standards of The Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies, including state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Data order entry/verification proficient. Automated dispensing machine experience preferred. Detail oriented and organized. Excellent communication skills with physicians and nursing staff. Pro-active, problem-solving individual that will work as a team, ability to work independently and meet financial, regulatory, and clinical goals as directed by management. Must be oriented and knowledgeable in the specialized functions of a psychiatric pharmacy.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. RPh or PharmD required.

Experience:

Must have 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience

License/Certification:

Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Florida.

Physical Requirements:

Moderate to low physical demands.
