Pay:
- $146,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience
- Responsibilities of the
Pharmacist Include:
- + Prepares and/or oversees the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to patients + Makes decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals + Makes outbound or takes inbound telephone calls to assist in various aspects of patient care and/or product distribution to/from practitioners, members, and pharmacies.
These calls include, but are not limited to, comprehensive medication reviews, targeted medication reviews, call to practitioners about product awareness, and prior authorizations. + Receive physician prescription orders and evaluate the appropriateness of these orders for dosage, drug choice, potential drug interactions, route of administration and stability + Supervise the filling, receiving, and dispensing activities involved in providing finished product to the patient + Ensure that the patient chart is complete for allergies, current and past medical history, and concurrent medications (including over the counter or home remedy medications) + Provide patient counseling, education, and monitoring + Ensure safety of patients and personnel by exercising good pharmacy practice in the process of drug therapy instructions to the patient + Document all communication with physicians, nurses and patients in the patient chart + Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of all necessary paperwork required by state and + Perform other tasks as determined by the Pharmacist-In-Charge and pharmacy leadership + Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards + Always maintains a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information
Pharmacist Include:
- Bachelors of Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
- Active and good standing Pharmacist license in Florida
- Additional state licenses (CA, VA) preferred + Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration + Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories + Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards

Pay Details:
- $146,000.
