Job Description
Unity Express Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead our pharmacy operations in Clearwater, FL. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining full compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, overseeing daily dispensing operations, and ensuring exceptional patient care and accuracy—with a specialized focus on ophthalmic products and specialized dispensing workflows.

Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Legal Oversight:
Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge with the Florida Board of Pharmacy, maintaining compliance with all state and federal drug laws, DEA regulations, and USP standards.Operational Leadership:
Direct and optimize daily workflow, technician supervision, inventory management, and prescription fulfillment.Ophthalmic & Specialized Dispensing:
Oversee precision dispensing processes for ophthalmic medications and specialized patient product lines.Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce rigorous quality control protocols, error-prevention measures, and continuous performance improvement.Patient & Prescriber Relations:
Provide clinical counseling to patients and collaborate with local prescribing physicians and clinic staff to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.Qualifications Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from an accredited pharmacy school.
