As Staff Pharmacist your Essential Functions will include the following:
  • Has solid knowledge of and guarantees compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting body standards, company policy and procedures, and standards of performance.
  • Maintain sterile compounding and clinical competency in compliance to policy and sufficient to meet pharmacy standards for patient safety and effective treatment. Compounds, dispenses and performs clinical activities to these standards.
  • Supervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff and work performance.
  • Provides direct supervision to Pharmacy Technicians working with Pharmacist.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred. Must have current Pharmacist Licensure in the State of Florida in good standing. A minimum of 1 year of experience in IV preparations and USP 797 compliance required.
