Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available at a leading children's hospital located conveniently between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This 13-week contract position begins on August 25 and offers a chance to apply specialized skills in pediatric and neonatal intensive care settings.
Schedule Options:
Day Shift:
12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts)
Overnight Shift:
11:00 PM - 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties with a focus on pediatric and NICU patient care Accurately dose medications tailored for children Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to manage prescriptions and patient information Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Florida pharmacist license in good standing Proven experience in pediatric and NICU inpatient pharmacy environments highly preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric dosing protocols and hospital pharmacy procedures Familiarity with
EPIC EMR
