Contract (13+ weeks), with potential for contract-to-hire or direct hire Key Responsibilities Interpret, verify, and accurately process physician medication orders. Perform and oversee sterile compounding operations in strict adherence to USP <797>, USP <800>, and relevant regulatory guidelines. Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations ensuring safety and accuracy. Review medication profiles for allergies, interactions, contraindications, dosing, and compatibility. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain high standards. Maintain cleanroom protocols, aseptic technique, and consistent environmental monitoring. Lead quality assurance initiatives, medication safety programs, audits, and continuous process improvement. Maintain thorough documentation for compounding batches, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Support inventory management including controlled substances and daily pharmacy operations. Assist in developing pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff educational programs. Participate actively in staff meetings and professional conferences. Qualifications & Desired Experience Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing. Minimum of one year recent sterile compounding experience with hazardous and non-hazardous agents following USP <797>, USP <800>, DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations. Alternatively, 3-5 years of comprehensive sterile compounding experience coupled with at least 1 year recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
