Job Description

A Naples-area hospital system has five pharmacist jobs open right now. I'm Alex with Ava Health, a healthcare recruiting firm in Tampa. One of them is part time. Another is a night job open to pharmacists with no hospital experience yet. Those two are the ones I'd point out first. Pay is $130,000 to $165,000 a year on the PharmD roles. Part time is fewer hours, so ask me what that one pays instead of assuming it lands in that range.
The open jobs:
Pharmacist Pharmacist, full time, 8 hour day Pharmacist, Infusion Service, full time Pharmacist, part time Pharmacist, night shift, entry level You don't need hospital years behind you for the night job. And if IV and sterile compounding is the part of pharmacy you actually like, ask me about the Infusion Service job.
What the work looks like:
Order verification and dispensing, plus IV and sterile compounding Dosing, interaction and alternative questions from the physicians you work with Rounding with the clinical team and medication therapy management Mentoring techs and residents, plus P&T committee work and antimicrobial stewardship Documentation that holds up for Joint Commission and the FL Board of Pharmacy It's a multi campus system, so there's room to move on campus and on clinical area. Oncology, ED, ICU and ambulatory are all in the mix. Relocation help is there for the right person.
What you need:
PharmD Active Florida pharmacist license, or willing to get one. I'll walk you through the timeline. A year of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience is preferred. The night shift job is open to people who don't have it yet. There's also a pharmacy technician opening at the same system. It's not a PharmD job and it doesn't pay in the range above. Tell me if that's the one you want and I'll get you the details. Ava Health works a small number of openings at a time, so your application comes to me. Apply through Indeed and tell me which one you want and where you are on your Florida license. I'll come back with campus and shift details. Alex Ava Health alex@avahealth.co
