Clinical Pharmacist II - 7 On/7 Off Overnight Position Summary Orlando Health is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist II to join our overnight Pharmacy team. This 7 on/7 off overnight schedule offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while providing advanced clinical pharmacy services in a collaborative health-system environment. The Clinical Pharmacist II plays a vital role in optimizing medication therapy, ensuring medication safety, supporting patient care initiatives, and partnering with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes. Schedule Full-Time 7 On / 7 Off Overnight Rotating weekends and holidays as required Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through medication therapy management and clinical interventions. Review, verify, and accurately dispense medications and intravenous therapies in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor patient medication regimens and provide evidence-based recommendations to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and medication management consultations, including renal dosing adjustments and IV-to-PO conversions. Evaluate and respond to clinical alerts and medication-related issues promptly. Investigate, document, and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds as applicable. Support medication safety, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance activities, and accreditation standards. Serve as a clinical resource and educator for pharmacists, pharmacy residents, students, and technicians. Assist with departmental projects, policy development, research initiatives, and pharmacy practice advancements. Maintain competency in all aspects of health-system pharmacy practice, including pharmacotherapy, patient care, distributive services, drug information, and practice management. Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required. Experience Hospital pharmacy experience required. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred. Licensure Current Florida Pharmacist License in good standing required. Why Orlando Health?
