Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A night shift pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Palm City, FL. This contract role offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a focus on inpatient care, providing critical pharmaceutical services during overnight hours.

Schedule & Location:

Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days on, 7 days off schedule

Palm City, Florida Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient pharmacological needs Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current Florida pharmacist license Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings Comfortable and committed to working the night shift Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis technology is a plus This assignment starts ASAP and extends for at least 13 weeks. The role requires a pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary hospital team during overnight shifts.
