Job Description

Our Company SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services. Responsibilities Perform duties assigned by the VP of Operations or Pharmacist in Charge and/or Quality Assurance ManagerConduct audit related activities including but not limited to, obtaining, and analyzing data, reviewing records, supporting documentation, and completed audit work papersMonitors pharmacy related processes and data for compliance and accuracyPerforms ongoing assessment and monitor pharmacy related areasAssist with the development of training and training materials for new and existing employeesWork with internal teams to standardize training processes and systemsAssist and coordinate any QI Projects, as neededImplement and maintain department objectives to ensure compliance of JCAHO accreditingMaintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws Qualifications H.S. diploma or equivalentRegistered with Florida Board of Pharmacy / Licensed Pharmacy TechnicianLong Term Care Pharmacy experienceKnowledge of the Pharmacy floor area, a plusAbility to read, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishUses good judgment and independent decision-makingMust be detail orientedMicrosoft Excel; FrameworksAbility to be mobile in performing job duties
