What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Accurately reviewing and dispensing prescriptions Counseling patients and answering medication-related questions Providing exceptional customer service and building strong patient relationships Participating in nonsterile compounding and learning specialized compounding processes Communicating effectively with physicians, medical offices, patients, and pharmacy team members Identifying and resolving prescription, insurance, workflow, and patient-care issues efficiently Becoming proficient with pharmacy dispensing software and adapting to new technology and workflows Assisting with inventory management and day-to-day pharmacy operations Contributing ideas to improve workflow, patient service, pharmacy growth, and business operations Learning more about the financial and operational aspects of running an independent pharmacy What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: An active pharmacist license, or eligibility for licensure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer-service skills and a patient-focused attitude The ability to think quickly and solve problems independently Excellent adaptability and willingness to learn new dispensing software and systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed An interest in expanding beyond traditional prescription dispensing Pharmacy experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
