Join us in making a significant impact on patient health and well-being! What you'll do Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient care. Conduct thorough patient assessments to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes. Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of medications while minimizing waste. Utilize pharmacy software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline workflows. Provide immunizations and educate patients on medication administration and pain management strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality in all patient interactions. Knowledge of 340B program. Basic qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Proficiency in compounding medications and aseptic technique. Previous experience managing pharmacy technicians or support staff.
