In this role, you will oversee medication dispensing, provide clinical pharmacy services, and collaborate with the physician team to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders, ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and safety protocols Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including education on drug interactions, side effects, and proper administration techniques Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies based on physiology knowledge and clinical data Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed while ensuring optimal management and acute care outcomes Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and ensure pharmaceutical regulatory compliance at all times Requirements Valid pharmacist license with current registration Demonstrated expertise in managed care principles and pharmacy operations Experience with pharmacy information systems (PIS) and EMR/EHR platforms for medication management and documentation Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while providing excellent patient service across diverse populations
