•70 per hour About the Position Vital Care of South Miami is seeking a motivated and dependable Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations at our home infusion pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who wants to take an active leadership role in a growing infusion pharmacy. The PIC will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise pharmacy staff, and work closely with nurses, providers, patients, and our intake team to coordinate safe and timely infusion therapy. Key Responsibilities Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge and maintain compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements and all applicable state and federal regulations Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow Review and verify infusion and specialty medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, dosing, interactions, and patient safety Oversee sterile compounding operations and ensure compliance with applicable USP standards Maintain appropriate pharmacy policies, procedures, documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory records Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy personnel Coordinate with prescribers, nurses, intake staff, patients, and caregivers regarding infusion therapy Review laboratory results and other clinical information when appropriate for therapy Assist with inventory management, medication procurement, and maintaining adequate medication and supply levels Help ensure therapies are prepared and delivered accurately and on schedule Participate in pharmacy audits, accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement Help build efficient systems and processes as the pharmacy continues to grow Qualifications Active and unrestricted Florida Pharmacist License Eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in the State of Florida Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing pharmacy environment Ability to work collaboratively with providers, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and administrative staff Home infusion, specialty pharmacy, sterile compounding, IVIG, biologics, or USP experience is strongly preferred. Compensation $60
