Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Lead pharmacy operations and clinical services as a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager in the Greater Atlanta, GA area. This direct hire position requires a seasoned pharmacy professional to oversee safe, home-based intravenous therapies, manage sterile compounding activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role demands strong leadership skills with a focus on training and orientation to foster long-term success for pharmacy staff.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Must have schedule flexibility for administrative on-call dutiesKey Responsibilities:
Direct daily pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control Lead and supervise pharmacists and technicians, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and on-call scheduling Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements such as State Board of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines Provide clinical oversight in infusion therapies by collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement to drive branch profitability and efficiencyQualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings Expertise in IV admixture services, regulatory standards, and team leadership Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred Willingness to participate in administrative on-call This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated pharmacy leader ready to take charge of a vital branch and contribute to patient-centered infusion care.
