Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee and enhance pharmacy operations focused on home-based intravenous therapies in a leadership role designed for experienced pharmacy managers. This direct hire position is located in Douglasville, GA, and offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team within the home infusion pharmacy setting. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
- Lead pharmacy personnel recruitment, training, orientation, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, including State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP guidelines
- Provide clinical oversight of infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care outcomes
- Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous performance improvement initiatives
- Participate in administrative on-call duties as required, with regular pharmacist on-call rotations Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
- 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
- Demonstrated experience managing pharmacy staff with a strong emphasis on training and orientation
- Solid knowledge of infusion management and IV admixture services
- Familiarity with CPR+ and CareTend systems highly preferred
