Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee and advance home infusion pharmacy operations with a focus on clinical excellence and staff development in a management role based in Douglasville, GA. This direct hire opportunity demands a leader skilled in sterile compounding, infusion therapy management, and regulatory compliance to ensure top-notch patient care within a home-based intravenous therapy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Lead, train, and evaluate pharmacists and technicians, fostering a team environment centered on professional growth and quality service. Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP compounding standards, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clinical staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient intravenous therapy outcomes. Contribute to business strategy through budgeting, workflow improvements, and operational performance assessments. Support pharmacist on-call schedules and participate in administrative on-call duties when necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in Georgia. 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or an acute care environment. Demonstrated proficiency in infusion management and strong leadership skills with an emphasis on training and orientation. Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred. Commitment to values prioritizing staff training to achieve long-term success.
