Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A leadership role is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and clinical services for home-based intravenous therapies in the Greater Atlanta area. This direct hire position requires a manager experienced in sterile compounding, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance who can foster a culture focused on training and long-term success.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Schedule flexibility required Administrative on-call duties as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Manage pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling for pharmacists and technicians. Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy laws, USP compounding guidelines, and other regulatory standards. Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize patient infusion therapies. Participate in budgeting, workflow improvements, and business performance initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program. Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia. Minimum of 5 years' clinical and operations experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy. Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy teams. Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred. Ability to take administrative on-call responsibilities; pharmacist team rotates regular on-call duties.
