Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A leadership opportunity exists for an experienced Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager to oversee clinical and operational activities in a dynamic home infusion pharmacy setting. This direct hire position is located in the Greater Atlanta, GA area and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Provide leadership and supervision for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, including state pharmacy board laws and USP compounding guidelines. Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. Engage in business operations including budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia. Between 5 to 7 years of combined clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings. Demonstrated knowledge of IV admixture services, regulatory requirements, and proven leadership skills. Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly preferred. Ability to take administrative on-call duties as needed; team participates in regular on-call rotations. This position emphasizes strong training and orientation for long-term success, highlighting a commitment to staff development and quality care.
