Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee critical home infusion pharmacy operations in a leadership role focused on ensuring safe, effective intravenous therapies delivered in patient homes. This direct hire opportunity based in Lithonia, GA, offers the chance to lead a skilled pharmacy team dedicated to quality, compliance, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Lead recruitment, training, orientation, and performance evaluation of pharmacists and technicians with a strong emphasis on long-term development. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as State Board of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines. Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize infusion therapy outcomes. Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and business performance initiatives. Provide administrative on-call support as needed, supporting a pharmacist team that rotates regular on-call duties.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program. Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia. 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience, including home infusion and infusion management. Proven leadership skills in managing pharmacy personnel and delivering IV admixture and sterile compounding services. Familiarity with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred.
