Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist position is available on a contract basis for approximately two months, working on site in Lawrenceville, GA. This role is designed to provide essential relief and help manage a backlog by verifying and dispensing medication orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Location:
Lawrenceville, GA (on site)
Schedule:
Initial training: Minimum of 15 hours alongside current pharmacists, scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., spread across several half-day shifts.
Post-training:
40 hours per week with flexible scheduling options within a 24/7 window. Opportunity to work more than 40 hours per week if desired.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety. Dispense medications according to pharmacy protocols. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage and reduce backlog. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia is required. A Maryland pharmacist license is a plus but not mandatory. Prior experience in order verification and dispensing preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
