Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This leadership role manages the daily operations and clinical services of a home infusion pharmacy, specializing in safe, home-based intravenous therapies. The manager oversees sterile compounding, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and branch performance to ensure quality patient care and business success.
Location:
Norcross, GA Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
Direct pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management Lead and develop pharmacy staff through recruitment, training, orientation, and performance evaluations Ensure strict compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP sterile compounding standards Collaborate with healthcare providers to maintain clinical expertise and optimize infusion therapy outcomes Participate in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives Support and rotate pharmacist on-call duties, taking administrative on-call when required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of IV admixture techniques, regulatory accreditation, and pharmacy staff leadership Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems highly preferred Emphasis on training and orientation to foster long-term team success This is a direct hire opportunity to lead a dynamic infusion pharmacy team focused on delivering excellent patient care with a strong commitment to education and compliance.
